RBS31 Series
Provides omnidirectional tilt status according to the specified angle and is suitable for determining whether an allowable threshold has been exceeded.
Precision equipment, machinery, liquid-handling equipment, and special packaging may need to remain within a specified orientation during handling. If the allowed tilt angle is exceeded during transportation, the event may need to be logged or an alert issued.
If the requirement is only to determine whether a threshold such as 30° or 45° has ever been exceeded, an expensive continuous-orientation system may not be necessary. A fixed-angle tilt switch can serve as the event input, while a data logger or IoT device stores the event time.
The RBS31 series can provide omnidirectional tilt status according to the specified angle. If tilt direction, peak angle, duration, or a complete transportation trajectory is required, a three-axis sensor should be used together with data logging.
Provides omnidirectional tilt status according to the specified angle and is suitable for determining whether an allowable threshold has been exceeded.
Receives tilt-event input and stores event time information for traceability or alert functions.
Suitable for applications requiring tilt direction, peak angle, duration, and a complete transportation trajectory.
| Application Requirement | Recommended Direction |
|---|---|
| Determine only whether the threshold was exceeded | Fixed-angle tilt switch |
| Event time logging is required | Tilt switch + data logger |
| Complete direction / angle trajectory is required | 3-axis IMU / inclinometer solution |

Provide the allowable cargo angle, transportation conditions, and whether event logging is required. OncQue can help plan a suitable sensing solution.
